Amey is the Tenth Anniversary doll in the Gorham Doll Collection.

Designed by Susan Stone Aiken. Amey is completely original. Her beautiful porcelain face is set off by brunette curs and periwinkle blue paperweight eyes. Her outfit is made of lavender and peach blush taffeta with a removable cape and overskirt of striped moiré taffeta. It features a double pleated ruffle on the skirt, a waist pocket containing a silver-plated purse mirror engraved with Amey’s monogram and dated 1990, and trim of elegant, ivory bridal applique adorned with hand beading and pearls. Amey’s accessories include a silver-plated heart locket and amethyst color stone, leather boots trimmed with pearl buttons, rosettes and bows, and a hair box covered in moiré taffeta designed to hold her elegant hat of lavender and peach blush taffeta trimmed with pearls, flowers and ostrich feathers.

Amey is issues in a limited edition, hallmarked, dated and hand numbered on her neck. Her head, arms and legs are of fine porcelain, carefully finished and delicately hand painted. She is musical, with an eighteen note musical movement which plays Anniversary Song. She is certified by Gorham to be completely original, and proudly wears the Gorham “G” bracelet, your assurance of design and quality excellence.
