Joy, the second in a series of limited Christmas Dolls, reflects the spirit of the season in an elegant outfit of holiday plaid. Fashioned of polished pima cotton with a lace and pearl trimmed yoke of pleated white taffeta, the dress has a V shaped welted waste of red. An underskirt of red taffeta overlaid with scallops of white moire accented by red ribbons and delicate lace completes this lovely doll.

Her original porcelain face features large, brown, paperweight eyes. It is framed by abundant brown ringlets and topped by an elaborate hat of shirred taffeta trimmed with lace and silk flowers.

Joy wears white stockings and white leather shoes, with charming red taffeta rosettes, held in place with a pearl.

Joy is 19” tall and is musical her delicate 18 note musical movement playing “The Christmas Song”.

Joy is a limited edition of 2500 hand numbered pieces. Each doll is carefully inspected to assure Gorham high standards of quality.
